Mahashivratri fasting method

On the day of Mahashivratri, wake up early in the morning, take a bath  and take a pledge to fast in front of Lord Shankar with full devotion.

Worship method of Mahashivratri

To worship Mahashivaratri, first bathe Lord Shankar with Panchamrit. Milk, ghee, sugar, honey, curd and Ganges water are offered devoutly. It is very auspicious to offer water mixed with saffron.
