Wake up early on this day and take a bath and keep in mind that you wear clean and neat clothes only. After this, after cleaning your place of worship in the house, install the picture of Lord Vishnu. Offer yellow flowers to them.

 After this, light a ghee lamp and recite the eleventh chapter of Shrimad Bhagwat Gita.

After that meditating on Lord Vishnu  and chant the mantra- Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya Namah
