When Jagannath Yatra is organized

Every year on the second day of Ashadh Shukla, Lord Jagannath goes to his maternal aunt's house, during which he does not go alone, but his elder brother Balaram and younger sister Subhadra also accompany him. These three go on three different chariots. After this all three reach Gundicha temple. Gundicha Temple is about three kilometers away from Jagannath Temple. Devotees pull the chariot of Lord Jagannath with full devotion and take him to Gundicha. After this, all three are brought back to their place on the tenth day of Ashadh Shukla Paksha.
